New all solid model, same dimensions exactly as the SJRS, with the armrest Padual feature and Florentine cutaway but using Mahogany for the back and sides instead of Rosewood and Cedar for the top instead of Spruce , giving it an overall deeper, softer sound. Still has the Gotoh machines, one piece mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard. It is an absolute joy to play, with the same easy action as all Terry Pack guitars.
This is the best acoustic guitar I have ever been involved in, it is solid cocobolo back and sides, solid red cedar top, one piece mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, abalone inlays, Gotoh 510 /21:1 ratio gears. It sounds like a grand piano and plays incredibly easy with a 46mm nut, a fingerpickers dream.
You have to try this out, come on over to Blackpool and treat yourself.!!!
I was due to have Christmas lunch with Rick at our mutual friends home and was taking a Terry Pack SJRS for him which he expressed an interest in last September. Unfortunately, Rick Passed away on Christmas eve and never got to take delivery of the guitar, however his son, Harry, who flew in on Christmas day, came to dinner and said he wanted to take possession of the instrument as he loved it and was sure it was what Rick would have liked, it was a very emotional time. My thoughts are with all the Parfitt family.
